LOGONaraTanzania Safaris
Sustainability hero - 2400x1200Travel Responsibly
The wild places we love are ours to protect. Responsible travel is woven into how we work - not an afterthought.
We want Tanzania’s wild beauty to be here, undiminished, for generations to come.
A safari is a privilege, and privilege carries responsibility. The very things that make Tanzania extraordinary - its wildlife, its ecosystems, its cultures - are also vulnerable, and tourism can either help protect them or wear them away. We are firmly committed to the former. Responsible, sustainable travel is not a box we tick; it is part of how we plan every trip and how we ask our guests to travel with us.
The wildlife and ecosystems of Tanzania are irreplaceable, and fragile. We follow responsible wildlife-viewing practices - keeping a respectful distance, staying on tracks, never disturbing animals - and we support the parks and conservation efforts that keep these places wild for the generations to come.
Tourism should bring real benefit to the people whose home it celebrates. We work with local guides, staff and suppliers, we encourage respectful and genuine cultural encounters that fairly benefit communities, and we support causes that create opportunity in Tanzania.
We aim to tread lightly - minimising waste and single-use plastics, being mindful of water and energy in a country where both are precious, and favouring lodges and camps that share these values and operate sustainably in the wild.
Responsible travel is a mindset as much as a policy. We brief our guests on how to visit sensitively - respecting wildlife, cultures and the environment - so that every journey leaves a positive mark rather than a scar.
