Nara Tanzania Safaris was born from a dream - one nurtured by a young Maasai girl who grew up where wildlife roams freely across endless plains.
Raised in the heart of a traditional Maasai community, she learned from an early age that people, wildlife and the land are deeply connected.
Those lessons shaped not only her childhood, but also her life’s purpose. Through education in wildlife tourism and conservation, she transformed that dream into a vision: to create a safari company that offers extraordinary experiences while making a lasting difference for wildlife, local communities and future generations.
That vision became Nara Tanzania Safaris.
We believe travel is at its most meaningful when it creates unforgettable memories while leaving a positive impact behind. What truly makes Nara Tanzania Safaris different is our purpose. Every safari you book directly supports the work of the Enduata Community Initiative Organization (ECIO), a community-led organisation dedicated to empowering Maasai women and protecting the future of Maasai girls.
Together, we help girls remain in school by addressing barriers such as poverty, early and forced marriage, female genital mutilation (FGM) and unequal access to education. We empower women through sustainable livelihoods, leadership opportunities, improved family nutrition and economic independence. We also support environmental conservation, because we believe healthy communities and healthy ecosystems depend on one another.
