I · Our Story

Planned by people
who live here

We are not an agency that sells Tanzania. We are the people who live here — and your safari is the same trip we would plan for our own family.

Every journey is built one at a time. No fixed coaches, no shared seats, no schedule you have to keep up with. Tell us how you like to travel — slow mornings, or first light at the gate — and we shape the days around it.

Our guides read this country the way you read the street you grew up on. They know which pride moved north, which crossing is running this week, and which Maasai family will welcome you as a guest rather than an audience.

05 The difference

What you get that a
booking site can't sell you.

01

A guide, not a driver

Every Nara trip is led by a licensed Tanzanian guide who grew up in this region — not a driver with a checklist. They read the plains, and they know the families.

02

Your vehicle, your day

Private 4x4 with a pop-top roof on every safari. No shared seats, no eight-person schedule. If the light is good, you stay.

03

Planned from Arusha, not a call centre

We are 40 minutes from Kilimanjaro Airport. When something changes on the ground, the person who answers is the person who can fix it.

04

Your trip supports ECIO

Part of every booking goes to Maasai community work around Arusha — women, youth, and children living with disabilities.

The longer answer

06 The cause

Part of your journey
stays behind.

Enduata Community Initiative Organization works with Maasai communities around Arusha — with women, with young people, and with children living with disabilities. Travelling with Nara supports that work directly. Not a logo on a page: a partnership we can show you, with people you can meet while you are here.

Visit ECIO Community visits arranged on request — ask your guide.

07 The planner

Tell us how you
want to travel.

Six questions, ninety seconds. No brochure comes back — a guide in Arusha reads every answer and writes to you within 24 hours, with a first route to argue with.

01 / 07

Tell us when you want to come.

Send your dates and roughly what you have in mind. A guide writes back within 24 hours.
